Following the concept and the shape (printed circuit board) of the previous trademark, the current trademark strives for a stronger balance and visual weight, not only through the shape’s redesign, where the trademark will be turned into a small printed circuit board, but also through the use of a colour that is more appealing, as well as a solid and stable printing for the logo.

There are several versions for the combination of trademark and logo since we can add to the standard combination “trademark + INESC Porto”, not only the title “Laboratório Associado” (Associated Laboratory), but also the institution’s name in full.

A new version was also recently created where the initials of “Laboratório Associado” were added to the logo, the result being “INESC Porto LA”.

Furthermore, each of these combinations can be displayed in two different ways: horizontally or vertically.

The coding of the relations present in each of these combinations can be accessed through the Corporate Image Manual, which you can download from this website.

You can also download the other versions in Vectorial or Birmap format. Nevertheless, it is important to respect the area of protection of the logo/trademark.

If necessary, it is also possible to use the logo/trademark in scales of grey. However, it is strongly recommended that the original colour should be used whenever possible since this is, in fact, an important element that characterises the institution’s image.
