Call for Research Grant Within "DigiScope" Project
INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award grants to graduates, to work in the Research project "DigiScope - DIGItally enhanced stethosCOPE for clinical usage", in the following work area: Computer Science. We are looking for candidates holding a Master or PhD frequency in computer science. Candidates must have familiarity with machine learning techniques, algorithms and tools, ability to integrate multi-disciplinary teams, good English writing skills.
Call for Research Grant Within "KINETIC" Project
INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award grants to graduates, to work within the Research project "Compositional systems controlled by dynamic and adaptive interfaces", in the following work area: Computer music, interactive music systems, automatic music generation. We are looking for candidates holding a Master's degree in composition, music technology, or computer science or a PhD frequency in music at work in the area of algorithmic composition, automatic generation of music, interactive systems or PhD frequency in computer science with work in the same areas. Candidates must have Knowledge of English (spoken and written), knowledge and experience in programming in Max/MSP and Pd, and knowledge of music theory and compositional systems knowledge of Max/MSP and Pure Data SDKs. Preference will be given to candidates showing previous work in automatic music generation, and knowledge of other musical programming languages/environments such as SuperCollider, ChucK and Csound.
Call for Grant Within "ROBOTVIGIL" Project
INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award grants, to work in the Research project "Vigilant Robot", in the following work area: Development of automatic people tracking algorithms. We are looking for candidates holding a Degree or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering (with training in Networking / Telecommunications) or similar. Candidates must be fluent in English (spoken and written), must have good knowledge in image and video processing, and good programming skills (C and C++). Preference will be given to candidates who are Innovative.
Call for Research Grant in the "PALCO 3.0" Project
INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award grants, to work in the Research project "Intelligent Web system to support management of a social network in the music area", in the following work area: Software development for Music Information Retrieval applications. Academic Degree: Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar. Preference will be given to candidates showing Experience of C++ (MARSYAS being a significant plus), interest in audio analysis, knowledge of Python (or similar), Matlab, and experience with machine learning frameworks (especially WEKA).

We are looking for candidates holding a Master in Electrical and Computers Engineering. Minimum Profile required: Training in mobile robotics and control.
