INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award grants to graduates, to work in the Research project "Electronic Sensing for the Prophylaxis of Lower Limb Pathologies", in the following work area: development and test of a system for the digital processing and analysis of signals involved in the lower limbs during gait. We are looking for candidates holding a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering or similar. Candidates must have good knowledge in the domain of electronics and digital signal processing and analysis, as well as good command of English.

Call for a Research Grant Within "Intelligent grids with plugged in electric vehicles" Project
INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award one scientific research grant, to carry out activities in the research project "Intelligent grids with plugged in electric vehicles", in the following work area: Power electronics. We are looking for candidates holding a Pre-Bolonha Degree or integrated master in electric engineering or similar course of studies. Candidates must have experience in using simulations tools like Matlab/Simulink, PSIM and PSpice and must have knowledge of analogue and digital circuit technology. Experience in the field of circuit layout and PCB; solid knowledge with digital controller based systems, profound programming skills in C, Assembler as well as LabView; knowledge in design and control of single-phase and three-phase DC/AC power converters for stand-alone and grid connected applications, as well as good English skills, written and spoken. Preference will be given to candidates showing good knowledge and working experience in the field of power electronics as well as process measuring and control techniques.
