Application domains have had a considerable impact on the evolution of embedded systems, in terms of required methodologies and supporting tools and resulting technologies. SoCs are slowly making inroads in to the area of industrial automation to implement complex field-area intelligent devices which integrate the intelligent sensor/actuator functionality by providing on-chip signal conversion, data processing, and communication functions.
XV Latin-Iberoamerican Conference on Management of Technology - ALTEC 2013
The realization of the first biennial ALTEC´s Congress in Portugal aims to enhancing research and diffusion activities in the area of “management of technology" in the latin-iberoamerican regions, extending the scope of ALTEC actions to Portuguese-speaking regions and countries in Europe and Africa. It is also intended to stimulate international cooperation networks with emphasis on the latin-iberoamerican regions, but with global scope and impact.
