INESC TEC invites Senior Researchers to submit applications to work at INESC TEC. After curriculum review, the best applications will be selected and researchers will be able to develop fundamental or applied research and technology transfer in INESC Porto’s different R&D Units. The candidates should preferably have a PhD degree for more than 3 years (justified exceptions are accepted) and demonstrate a high level of work ethics, boldness, ability to work in teams and to face demanding challenges. INESC PORTO is accepting applications to award 1 Postdoctoral grant, within the Project: Smartgrids (NORTE-01-0124-FEDER-000056), in the following work area: Data Mining/ Data Stream Analysis. we are looking for candidates holding a PhD in Computer Science/Informatics. candidates must have solid knowledge in programming using Java or C, C++. Knowledge of data mining techniques and algorithms, knowledge of data stream analysis, and experience in the area of ubiquitous data-mining. Preference factors: Experience with Massive Onlline Analysis (MOA), and publications in the area of Data Mining / Data Streams Analysis.
