At the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Unit (ROBIS) we specialise in the development of intelligent sensors and perception systems for robotic systems, as well as in real-time artificial vision systems for autonomous systems.
We specialise in designing and developing underwater autonomous vehicles used for environmental and structural monitoring, investing in underwater sonar technology for imaging processes and to characterise 3D environments. Combined with these competences, we also play an important role in the development of real-time sensing systems, probabilistic methods for sensor fusion, or even adaptive sampling in data acquisition from several sensors.
