• HIPOWER (1998/2001)

This project developed optical based technologies, bulk and optical fiber, for electrical current metering in environments with strong electromagnetic fields. The prototypes were tested in electrical energy distribution and transport systems along with conventional metering systems with competitive results. A patent application was filled and granted to the industrial partner.
